Sadiqua is my attempt to create a latin alphabet that plays with the aesthetical appearance of kufi text. It was very important for me, that not only the single letterforms resemble the arabian ones, but that the whole typeface transports a similar feeling.
Sadiq means friend in arabian, I called her Sadiqua.
The typeface got printed in Typodarium 2012.
